Intro to Rowing with Duwamish Rowing Club

Experience rowing on the Duwamish River with our recreational rowing club! We’re hosting two Intro to Rowing sessions for adults:

• May 17th, 2025 (Saturday):

  • 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM | Intro to Rowing - Session A

• June 14th, 2025 (Saturday):

  • 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Intro to Rowing - Session B

Reserve your spot by paying the $25 fee via Square: Intro to Row Session - Duwamish Rowing Club. After payment, email us with your preferred session and the name on your payment card.

Before the Session:

• 1Sign the DRC Guest Waiver and complete the Emergency Contact Form.

• Review our  Rower Packet (includes "Values" and "What to Wear").

• Watch the USRowing Safety Video.

Please Note:We offer a one-time introduction to help you decide if rowing is right for you. For further adult instruction, we recommend joining a larger club offering a 4-week "Learn to Row" program. Both Renton Rowing Center and Lake Union Crew  provide excellent instruction. After completing such a program, you're welcome to join our club rowers on the river.
